Saint-Saëns' Violin Concerto No. 3, surrounded by Sibelius' masterpieces, including the famous *The Swan of Tuonela*.

Noa Wildschut began her career as a child prodigy on the violin.

Now, at under 25 years old, she continues to captivate audiences with numerous competition wins and CD awards. In this program, she performs Saint-Saëns' Violin Concerto No. 3, one of the few French violin concertos that has truly remained in the repertoire. Surrounding this are two works by Sibelius, with the famous *The Swan of Tuonela* opening the concert. His Second Symphony alternates between heroic patriotism and personal revelations.

The conductor is Martijn Dendievel, who has previously appeared successfully with the orchestra. "Remember the name. He is one of those rare great conductors," says the Belgian press.

Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Muziekcentrum in Enschede: Opening Concert: Noa Wildschut plays Saint-Saëns.
