FAITH

FAITH is the latest show in the 'The Human Odyssey' series by Club Guy & Roni, renowned for previous successes such as Islands of Empathy and Fortune. This series brings together diverse cultures and worldviews, allowing them to clash and revealing profound human connections through live music and spectacular dance.

In FAITH, nine dancers and five musicians from the Netherlands and Morocco explore the theme of faith in a sensitive manner, accompanied by hypnotic Gnawa music that transports us to a spiritual realm often lost in the West.

The performance is strongly inspired by the Moroccan heritage of co-founder Guy Weizman and choreographer Khalid Benghrib, both of whom grew up in the same neighborhood in Casablanca. Their collaboration brings to life a blend of different physical, cultural, and spiritual approaches to faith.

Khalid Benghrib, influenced by leading dance masters, views dance as a means to speak about life. Roni Haver adds her precise choreography, integrating spiritual forms in FAITH.

Together, Weizman, Haver, and Benghrib create an immersive experience that invites the audience to add their own pieces to this artistic journey.
