The Osinum Quartet presents a diverse selection of works spanning different styles, eras, and atmospheres.

Though these works differ, they are connected by a clear thread of sentimental, human, and artistic development. This program is a cyclical journey that begins with the origins of Western "classical" music. It then transitions to music inspired by a more folkloric and earthy culture. The cycle culminates as music evolves and returns to the ritualistic and "sacred." Featuring versatile and unique works by composers such as Fanny Mendelssohn, David Maslanka, and the young Spanish composer Joan Perez-Villegas, the performance does not follow a strict chronological order. Instead, it is guided by a philosophical approach, though the timeline of music and human history is still largely adhered to.

This young Spanish saxophone quartet impresses with its beautiful ensemble sound. At times fiery, then tender and transparent. Like a blank canvas, they allow themselves to be overwhelmed by the music.
